Celebrate Soccer in Farmerama

The Grey Cup and the Super Bowl for 2012 are nowhere in sight, but that doesn’t mean that football has to end — for a certain definition of football, that is. The European Soccer Championships begin next week, so if you like the sport that much of the world calls football instead of the North American version, you have a thrilling season just ahead of you. Many of Farmerama’s 40 million players are big soccer fans, so the developers are bringing a soccer-themed event to the game in honour of the European championship rounds.

From June 8 to June 12, you’ll participate in a game-wide Farmerama event to build a stadium and stock it with all the delicious goodies that soccer fans demand while they watch the big game. Looney Tunes characters will also be on hand to help make the festivities a success. You’ll get more details from logging in as the event draws closer, but expect plenty of participation because the prizes are sweet.
