Farmerama Celebrates Turkish Sugar Festival
Published on: 15 August, 2012Farmerama
During the next week in Farmerama, you can indulge your sweet tooth to your heart’s content — although perhaps not with the approval of your pancreas – with the Turkish Sugar Fest 2012. Farmerama’s devs love to celebrate national pride, and this time around, it’s Turkey that gets the focus of their attentions. Called Seker Bayram in Turkey, the days-long festival celebrates the end of a month of Ramadan fasting. The Farmerama version will let you plant sweet melissa in your fields and harvest Turkish baklava when you gather your produce. You’ll also get candies that you can trade in for rewards and prizes related to the event.
Seker Bayram will last from August 17 to August 24 in the game.
To help you kick things off in the best possible way, take advantage of the Happy Harvester Day starting today and lasting for 24 hours. Make your farm more efficient by hiring a mechanized harvester for a day, and you’ll spend less than half the usual price to hire one.
